🗂️ The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is a masterpiece of high-tech architecture designed by the renowned architect Norman Foster. This building features an innovative steel frame structure and a fully glazed facade, allowing the interior space to seamlessly blend with the external environment, blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior of the building. The design emphasizes open, transparent and flexible functional spaces, and the entire building has no internal walls, ingeniously integrating exhibition, education and research functions. The Sainsbury Centre is also one of the landmark buildings by Foster that embodies his early practice of high-tech architectural concepts. Through exposed structural elements, technical facilities, and modular design, the building combines aesthetics with functionality. The interior is spacious and bright, suitable for displaying a large number of artworks. At the same time, its flexible layout design enables the museum to adapt to various exhibition needs.
### Architecture + Context ### Interior Space ### Construction Process ### Drawings ### Further Reading Sainsbury Centre | Art Gallery & Museum | Events & Exhibitions | Cafe
